Prime Minister Hazem el-Beblawy stressed that the people should participate in the coming referendum on the draft constitution. He said that citizens should exercise their rights in making the future of their country, adding that we should not let down the homeland in this crucial moment.
During a Cabinet meeting Thursday, Beblawy said the referendum is the product of the January revolution, whose demands were carried by the youths. The demands of bread, freedom, dignity and social justice were restated in the 30 June Revolution, he said.
He paid tribute to the martyrs of the revolutions and police and armed forces men.
