ENTC has sent letters to the British Prime Minister, The British Parliament, British Labour Party, United
Nations, International Red Cross and The Church of England to apply pressure on the TPLF regime and also
ensure the safety and immediate release of the abducted G7 Secretary General Ato Andargachew Tsege,
recently jailed opposition leaders Ato Abraha Desta, Ato Habtamu Ayalew, Ato Yeshiwas Assefa, Ato
Daniel Shibeshi and others.
We urge all Ethiopians, political, civic and religious organizations to use all available means and creativity
to keep pressuring the British government and the international agencies from all directions.
Even though we are going to keep pressing the international organizations for the safety of our fellow
Ethiopians, the ultimate solution for our country’s problems has to come from Ethiopians themselves. We,
in the opposition camp, need to provide a clear guidance and leadership to mobilize the Ethiopian people
for victory over the tyrant regime.
ENTC, as every other Ethiopian, believes that the struggle for freedom can only succeed if all stakeholders
synchronize their efforts. The need for unity and unified force is necessary now more than ever. In the
coming few days we will release a press release on this issue.
