Metro Nashville police detectives said they were investigating a shooting from Saturday night that resulted in the death of one man in a KFC parking lot.
Police said officers responded to shots fired at 9:40 p.m. off of Hicks Road, and found Amanuel Adane, 20, with multiple gunshot wounds in the driver’s seat of his silver 2002 Mercedes sedan. The Bellevue resident died at the scene, police said.
Detectives said the shooting was targeted, and that their investigation revealed that Adane had two men in the back seat of his car before he was shot. Witnesses said the men fled in a white four-door car.
Anyone with information about Adane’s killing is asked to contact Crime Stoppers at 615-742-7463. Callers to Crime Stoppers can remain anonymous.
