Naanol Tesfaye, the Swedish-born Ethiopian prospect that we reported on a measly two years ago, is being monitored by several big names from around Europe.
The youngster recently debuted for Ethiopia U-17 national team during their qualification for AFCON and World Cup in Tanzania. Unfortunately, Tesfaye and co finished second of the CECAFA zone, failing to secure qualification.
Tesfaye had a trial period lined up at Leeds United, which was sadly scraped by an untimely back injury afflicted on the-then 14 year old.
He remains contracted in Sweden plying his trade in the country’s Under-19 Allsvenskan.
The now 15-year old is currently, according to sources, still monitored by Manchester City, but alongside a host of other eminent names, most notably: Red Bull Salzburg, Crystal Palace and Scottish giants Celtic.
However, with Tesfaye on the cusp of his 16th birthday, a move to Germany, Italy or Spain is more likely.
